TURBOCHARGER - is a device used in internal combustion engines to increase its efficiency and power output. It operates on a simple yet ingenious principle: harnessing exhaust gases to force more air into the engine's combustion chamber, which results in better combustion and increased power. The core components of a turbocharger include a turbine and a compressor, both housed in a common casing. Here's how it works:

1) Exhaust gases enter the turbine housing, causing it to spin. This turbine is connected to a shaft.

2) As the turbine spins, it drives the compressor wheel located on the other end of the shaft. The compressor wheel draws in ambient air and compresses it before delivering it to the engine's intake manifold.

3) The compressed air, now denser and with more oxygen, allows for a more efficient combustion process when mixed with fuel in the engine's cylinders.
